DESCRIPTION

DNA worked with Milk Bar to develop their Washington, DC flagship location in Logan Circle. This 2,383 square-foot space was previously an auto-mechanic shop built in 1927.

DNA, as both the designer and AOR, worked to bring together the unique qualities of both the neighborhood and the existing building, while delivering a space that is quintessentially Milk Bar in its design. Colorful and fun elements, such as the pink neon signage, coupled with the historic features of the space come together to give both the retail and classroom spaces an inviting environment.

The location is continued outside with a walk-up window and outdoor patio which allows guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy the key ingredient to Milk Bar’s operation: the baked goods.
